AVA loves country field days! We spent Friday and Saturday at the South East Field Days in Lucindale talking to people about the hazards of asbestos – it is always interesting to hear people's stories. We had a lot of fun with so many children coming to the stand for the Yakka Trail.
It was a great help to have Sue from SE Asbestos on the stand with us to give out practical advice. South East Asbestos received a Betty Award in 2018 for their work in raising awareness of the dangers of asbestos in their community.
A big thank you to our volunteers for giving up their time to do this good work.
